UNDERSTANDING WHAT HAPPENS WITH YOUR DATA
Where does my data go?
Your data goes to cloud servers protected by Amazon Web Services. Our system then accesses that encrypted data, decouples from the internet, and processes the information. Your reports are then made accessible to your by Amazon Web Services servers via your password protected account.
Who has access to my data?
The only people that have access to your data are the people you choose to allow access. We can only access your account if you give us permission and trust us, we are farmers too and we know how important data privacy is.
How do I know my data is kept private?
Since we aren’t in the business of selling anything other than a service to help farmers save seed, the only information that is aggregated is hybrid and variety information so that in the future we can make better recommendations based on unbiased hybrid and variety performance. Your data is your data, all we want to do is turn it into meaningful information that can help you be more profitable.
How do I upload my data?
Uploading your data is simple. Just copy your yield files from your combine display as you normally would and then drag and drop that file into the UPLOAD folder in your Acusync account (Learn about uploading your data at www.seedsite.com/uploadingdata)

How is this different than FieldView™? Or my current system?
We are different than FieldView™ because we aren’t owned by a seed company, our only objective is to make you more comfortable with YOUR information, so you can make MORE informed decisions, about YOUR operation, to maximize PROFITABILITY. If you are using another system, our goal is to make the process SIMPLE. Your time is valuable and we work to make the process require as little of it as possible.
How many years of data do I need?
We only ask for 1 year of data, your best corn year, on the fields you would like to optimize.
How long does it take me to create my prescriptions?
Your time commitment is only a few minutes. Once the data is loaded, which can take less than a minute up to several minutes depending on file size and internet speed, you should start seeing prescriptive reports within 24 hours. No more sitting in front of the computer for hours trying to get your data done or waiting on your agronomist to deliver.
What type of support is provided?
We offer customer support during regular business hours & enhanced hours in planting seasons.
How does my hybrid choice influence the results?
In our testing we can achieve 95% or better seeding rate recommendations based on historical yields. However, your data will show you if there are significant hybrid differences and that can be accounted for.
Why do we only want 1 year of data?
We only ask for 1 year of data because we believe that 1 year of information, your best year, should be how we derive seeding recommendations. If we average multiple years of data, we run the risk of staying average.
What type of support will I need?
You may need assistance downloading from your display, uploading data into the system, accessing reports, downloading prescriptions and loading prescriptions, but we have a customer support team ready to assist you as well as operating guides and videos for each display from start to finish. Won’t my yield go down if I plant less seed?
In our testing we have never experienced a yield loss by optimizing seeding rates, only significant seed savings. Every seed you purchase in that bag of corn has the same genetic yield potential per plant. We work to optimize your seeding rate to express that potential, so every seed has the same yield per plant and the same ROI per seed.
What if your prescriptions do not save me any seed?
If our prescriptions do not save you any seed, you won’t be charged for the prescriptions. If you want to keep your data stored and utilize our other services you can elect to use those options, but as far as seeding optimization goes, the prescriptions are all yours.
Can I do just a few farms or do I need to do the entire operation?
For Spring of 2021 we are offering our TAKE IT FOR A TEST DRIVE program. This means you can load your entire operation and see all the potential savings for every field, then select a field that you would like to try and get that field for free. However, we are confident once you see all the potential savings, you will want to do it on your entire farm.

How do you derive your prescriptions?
Our prescriptions use a proprietary series of calculations to determine the optimized ROI for your fields. Every field will have a different average seeding rate, but they will all attempt to achieve the same ROI on every seed.
